<\/p>\nAs a rule, Australian craft gins are produced to a seriously high standard. That\u2019s why it\u2019s always a pleasure to find one that stands out from the crowd.<\/p>\n

Poltergeist is without doubt one of these gins. There are two versions, the \u2018Unfiltered\u2019 and the \u2018True Spirit.\u2019 Our preference is for this unfiltered. Because it hasn\u2019t gone through the filtration process, it\u2019s retained every drop of flavour and complexity Poltergeist has to offer.<\/p>\n
As a 46% gin, it has that slightly higher ABV that we love. It\u2019s full of warm, spicy and citrusy notes and stands up well when mixed. Our preference is with a dry tonic and slice of grapefruit, but there\u2019s plenty of flavours to experiment with here.<\/p>\n
Don\u2019t take our word on the Unfiltered either. The \u2018True Spirit\u2019 is an equally cracking gin and is many people\u2019s preference over the Unfiltered. The reason the two exist in fact, is the staff at the distillery couldn\u2019t choose between them either\u2026so they just went and made both!<\/p>\n
Either way you go, you won\u2019t regret adding this cracking gin to your collection. Before you pop the seal, don\u2019t forget, the poltergeist is the only spirit that can make things move.<\/p>\n
