Raise your hand if you’ve ever been let down by a natural deodorant. Enter Dulesé (pronounced “do less”) the New Zealand made personal care brand has launched into Australia with a refillable natural deodorant that actually works – and is better for the planet.

Founded by Kiwi entrepreneur Amelia Jory, and developed with experienced formulators, the natural formula is made without aluminium, baking soda or synthetic fragrance, the most common triggers for irritation in conventional and natural deodorants.
Frustrated by ongoing irritation and discomfort, Jory started looking for alternatives to conventional deodorants, but struggled to find a natural option that actually worked.
“It got me thinking, what exactly are we applying to our body’s largest organ – our skin – and whether it could be harmful,” says Jory.
“After much research – I was pretty taken back with what I found in our daily ‘chemical rollers’. I noticed a lot of ingredient names I didn’t recognise. It made me realise, we all deserve better. Something that’s good for us, good for the planet, and actually works.”
Jory wanted to create personal care products with fewer endocrine disrupting ingredients and a simpler, more considered approach to the bathroom shelf.
“Dulesé is built on the idea of ‘do less’ — simplifying daily routines with fewer, gentler ingredients that still perform,” says Jory. “It’s about reducing complexity while increasing impact.”
The cream-based deodorant combines magnesium hydroxide, tapioca starch and plant oils to neutralise odour, absorb moisture and condition the skin. It’s also infused with Dermosoft® helping activate protection against odour-causing microbes and providing professional-grade protection when it matters most.

With an estimated 3.2 billion single-use plastic deodorant containers thrown away globally every year, Dulesé’s refillable forest-green case is made from 100% PCR materials. Refills are sold separately, removing the friction (and the waste) from restocking.
The debut scent, No.1, reflects a broader shift toward multi-functional personal care: a fresh formula engineered to perform as both deodorant and solid cologne for all-over use.
The scent was developed by a French-trained perfumer who brought a more elevated approach to natural fragrance, something Jory felt was missing from the category. It is 100% natural and COSMOS certified, formulated without synthetic fragrance or hormone-disrupting ingredients.
“It’s slightly smoky yet fresh and clean, with notes reminiscent of fresh laundry with a subtle herbaceousness, like hanging out by a tomato and basil patch at home,” says Jory. Formulated as a unisex scent, it’s designed to perform and wear effortlessly across users.
Dulesé has gained early recognition for its performance-first approach to natural personal care, being named a finalist in the Clean + Conscious Awards for Best Natural Deodorant across Australia and New Zealand.
Dulesé retails at $40 (case and refill) and $34.99 for refills, available from May 2025 at dulese.com.au and selected stockists, with ongoing refills available via a flexible subscription model.
