Remember the days before you became a Dad? You know the ones I mean, when a sleep in WASN’T anything after 6.30am. When a ‘big night’ wasn’t when you managed to find out who had won the room on The Block, or when dinner time didn’t involve food being thrown around the room for no reason… those days. Remember?
Back in those days, occasionally I played a video game, sometimes FIFA against mates, and even longer ago in my University days, we were the kings of GoldenEye on the Nintendo 64.
But since the arrival of junior, video games are a thing of the past, until that is, Red Bull decided to launch a FREE (yes I said free) game based on their Red Bull Air Race series. Recreating the fastest motorsport series in the world, the world-first game allows players to select Red Bull Air Race pilots as avatars to take on authentic locations, which match where the real motorsport series takes place around the world. So, to break this down, you can pretend to be a pilot, pretend to go all over the world, and pretend to be a famous athlete!
You may have noticed I said the game was free, which again, is a win for a Dad (that’s something else I remember having… loose change!) but it’s also free of ads so you don’t have to pay in a different way for your free game,
Give it a try, take to the skies and if you are struggling to stay awake because of that 5am wake up, have a Red Bull and try again! You can download the game for FREE here.
