If you’ve ever wanted to take a speaker with you on the road and not look like you are carrying a speaker, then Harman Kardon have got the one for you. Seriously, their Go + Play is a genius piece of portable equipment, that when you carry it could quite easily pass as a high end handbag. I should say at this point that high end handbags are not my area of expertise, my wife can vouch for that, although I did chose a lovely one for her birthday last year, anyway, I digress.

GO + PLAY

The Go + Play is Harman Kardon’s latest portable speaker option – a highly portable and versatile speaker, complete with a stainless steel handle and built-in rechargeable battery that provides up to five hours of play time. It’s Bluetooth wireless streaming means you can connect to three smart devices simultaneously, letting multiple listeners stream their preferred playlists and songs from their own devices.

It can be really annoying though when your speaker is still going strong, but your phone or tablet is dying a slow battery death. That’s where Go + Play really shows its versatility as it’s equipped with a USB charge-out port, where you can also power up your smartphones and tablets without any interruption to your favourite tunes or streaming radio stations.

GO + PLAY PORTABLE SPEAKER

For an elevated acoustic performance, the GO + Play can wirelessly connect to another Harman Kardon Wireless Dual Sound-enabled speaker. Ideal for crystal-clear conference calls, the GO + Play comes with a built-in microphone featuring state-of-the-art echo and noise-cancelling technology for natural sounding speech capture in those noisy environments.

GO + PLAY

“The great thing about the GO + Play is that it’s equally at home occupying that perfect spot on a mantelpiece as a design piece, even though its portability and ergonomic handle makes it easy to carry with you around the house, bringing great sound wherever you go,” says Marcus Fry, Harman Brand Activation Director.

GO + PLAY SPEAKER

Having tried a few speakers of late it’s hard to criticise the Go + Play, because as a portable speaker its quality is pretty bloody good. However, listening next to Harman’s Aura Studio you can tell the difference and choosing between the two is a no contest. HOWEVER, this is portable, this can be carried with you to a picnic or on a road trip to go camping, and for that reason, it gets bonus points!
